Manchester FA supports over 420 affiliated clubs, 3,500 teams, and 60,000 participants across Greater Manchester. As one of TeamFeePay’s County FA Partners, they’ve seen first-hand how the right technology – backed by the right people – can transform the way grassroots clubs operate.
Most grassroots clubs are volunteer-led, with a handful of people wearing many hats. Manchester FA recognised that technology needed to do the heavy lifting – streamlining how clubs collect and distribute money, manage safeguarding, and build proper whole-club structures. Since partnering with TeamFeePay, clubs that were once stuck in old habits have become more modern, more effective, and better organised – shifting from a team-by-team mentality to a unified club approach.
The partnership goes far beyond a platform login. TeamFeePay brings specialist expertise in financial management, financial controls, volunteer development, funding, and grants – areas that complement Manchester FA’s own work and extend what they’re able to offer their clubs. From attending events to running sessions on Manchester FA’s behalf, TeamFeePay’s hands-on approach means clubs aren’t just getting software – they’re getting a support system.
The results speak for themselves. Clubs across Manchester are engaging with the platform, embracing a more structured and professional approach to how they run. As awareness of good club governance continues to grow, TeamFeePay’s impact is being felt at every level – from the volunteer managing registrations on a Sunday morning, to the FA officers supporting their development year-round. Manchester FA and TeamFeePay are just getting started.
