Scottish Youth Football Association Renew Partnership with TeamFeePay

TeamFeePay is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA), reaffirming a successful collaboration that continues to support youth football clubs across Scotland and reflects TeamFeePay’s ongoing growth and commitment within the UK football landscape.

As Official Support Partner, TeamFeePay will work closely with SYFA to support youth football clubs in managing their finances and administration more effectively. With clubs continuing to grow and financial responsibilities increasing, the partnership aims to provide practical tools and guidance to help volunteers maintain strong financial control, accountability, and sustainability.

Scott Robertson, SYFA Board Chairman, said:

“I am very pleased to enter this partnership with TeamFeePay. Our clubs are growing steadily, and the financial aspect of our game is critically important. Clubs and volunteers are managing increasing sums of money, with costs continuing to rise, so it is essential that they control their budgets and do so with accountability. The TeamFeePay platform and its staff will help our clubs manage growth and succeed, whilst providing parents and players with the security that their money is being tracked and administered appropriately.”

Phil Cowen, Head of International Football at TeamFeePay, added:

“Having been involved in Scottish football for over 20 years, I have always appreciated the pivotal role that grassroots football plays in its long-term development. Both parties are fully committed to driving strong leadership and sound financial governance, supporting clubs to become more sustainable and robust for the future.”

Through this partnership, SYFA clubs will be supported ‘On & Off’ the pitch, with expert Club Development advice focusing on income generating planning to achieve sustainability and robustness, driven by modern, easy-to-use tools that simplify day-to-day operations and financial management, improve transparency, and significantly reduce the administrative burden on volunteers. Clubs will benefit from streamlined player registrations, automated fee collection with built-in reminders, centralised safeguarding compliance and reporting, and the ability to launch and sell camps and tournaments. The platform also enables online club shops for kit and merchandise, manages payments for team tours, and supports club fundraising initiatives giving parents and players greater confidence in how club activities and finances are managed.
