TeamFeePay Announce New Partnership with Westmorland FA

TeamFeePay is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Westmorland County FA, bringing hands-on help to the volunteers who keep football going in clubs across the county.

Westmorland County FA has been backing those people since 1897. From its base in Kendal, it supports the county’s clubs, leagues, referees, coaches, players and volunteers, and runs the competitions that bring them together, from the Westmorland Senior Challenge Cup to the county’s boys’ and women’s cups.

As Official Club Support Partner, TeamFeePay will work alongside Westmorland County FA to take some of that weight off club volunteers. From online registrations, automated payment collection and fundraising tools with wider club development support. Westmorland’s FA-affiliated clubs can also access tailored guidance around long-term sustainability, income generation and volunteer support, alongside a dedicated account manager who understands the realities of grassroots football and is available when clubs need support most. Behind the platform is a team of football people who play, coach and volunteer themselves, on hand when clubs need them.

By combining Westmorland County FA’s deep understanding of the local football landscape with TeamFeePay’s experience supporting more than 2,000 clubs across the UK and Ireland, the partnership aims to help clubs spend less time on administration and more time creating positive experiences for players and communities.

James Pattison, CEO, Westmorland County FA said:

“We’re delighted to welcome TeamFeePay as our Official Club Support Partner. Their commitment to reducing administrative burden and improving the financial sustainability of grassroots football can be of great help to our clubs. This partnership will give our clubs access to tools that make a real difference behind the scenes, allowing volunteers to focus more time on the pitch.”

Jack McGovern, Club Development Specialist at TeamFeePay, added:

“We’re delighted to partner with Westmorland County FA as their Official Club Support Partner. Westmorland FA has been at the heart of grassroots football in the county for well over a century, supporting leagues, clubs, coaches, referees and volunteers on and off the pitch. That commitment is exactly why this partnership felt like the right fit for us. Through the partnership, Westmorland FA clubs will get support with accessing TeamFeePay’s platform, including simplified membership collection, income generation planning and an account-managed service, all designed to take some of the admin off volunteers so they can spend more time on what matters: the football. We’re looking forward to working alongside the team at Westmorland County FA, getting out to meet the county’s clubs and helping them go from strength to strength. Welcome to the team, Westmorland County FA. It’s great to have you on board.”

Westmorland County FA becomes the 29th County FA to partner with TeamFeePay, further strengthening TeamFeePay’s growing network of grassroots football partnerships across the UK and Ireland.

Together, both organisations share a simple goal: giving clubs the support they need to stay sustainable, remain affordable for families and continue providing opportunities for people of all ages to play the game.
