Recently we caught up with Toby Hallet of Pickwick Youth FC, one of Portsmouth’s longest standing and largest grassroots football clubs. They have teams ranging from Under 7s to Under 16s, as well as dedicated Nursery and Girls-Only training squads, Pickwick supports around 200 players each season.
They have been using TeamFeePay since March 2024, so we thought now was a good time to find out how things are going.

Q: What issues were you facing before joining TeamFeePay?
Before using TeamFeePay the club was working in a very analog way, with manual payments (usually cash) being the main way for players to pay subs.
This would lead to a lot of extra work for managers and importantly more chance of missed payments.

The fundraising feature on the app has also supported this area and allowed us to engage better with our community.
