- Overview
TeamFeePay Ltd (“TFP”, “we”, “us”) operates an invitation-only Club Referral Programme for existing TFP customers (“Referrers”) who have been specifically invited to participate. The programme rewards Referrers who successfully introduce new football clubs to the TFP platform. By submitting a referral, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
- Eligibility
2.1 Who can refer
Participation is limited to existing TFP customers who have received a direct invitation from TFP to take part in the programme.
Employees and contractors of TFP are not eligible to participate.
TFP reserves the right to withdraw an invitation or exclude any Referrer at its sole discretion.
2.2 Who can be referred
The referred club must be a new customer to TFP — clubs that have previously held an active TFP account do not qualify.
There is no limit on the number of clubs a Referrer may refer, provided each referral meets the qualifying criteria.
Each referred club may only be attributed to one Referrer. In the event of a duplicate referral, the first submission received by TFP will take precedence.
- How to Refer
Referrers must complete the official TFP referral form, providing accurate contact details for themselves and the clubs they are referring.
Referrers must confirm that they have spoken with and obtained consent from the referred club contacts prior to submission. This is a requirement under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, as applicable, and is a condition of participation in this programme.
TFP will use the information provided solely to contact the referred clubs and administer the referral programme.
By submitting third-party contact details, the Referrer warrants that they have obtained the necessary consent under applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and EU GDPR where the referral relates to a club based in Ireland.
- Referral Reward
4.1 Qualifying criteria
A reward of £500 is payable per qualifying referred club. A referral is deemed successful when all of the following conditions are met:
The referred club was submitted via the official TFP referral form prior to TFP making contact with that club through any other channel.
The referred club enters into a valid, executed agreement with TFP for use of the TFP platform.
The referred club successfully collects its first full month of membership payments via the TFP platform without reversal, chargeback, or cancellation.
The Referrer’s account remains in good standing at the time of payment.
4.2 Payment
Rewards will be paid within 30 days of the qualifying conditions being confirmed by TFP.
Payment will be made via bank transfer to the details provided by the Referrer. TFP is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect payment information.
Rewards are paid per qualifying referred club with no cap on the total number of qualifying referrals.
4.3 Exclusions
No reward is payable if the referral was made after TFP had already initiated contact with the referred club, regardless of the submission date.
No reward is payable if the referred club’s first month of payments is reversed, refunded, or subject to a dispute.
TFP reserves the right to withhold payment where it has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the programme.
- Tax & Financial Responsibility
Referral rewards may constitute taxable income. TFP does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for any tax liability arising from a referral reward. Referrers are solely responsible for declaring and accounting for any rewards received in line with their applicable tax obligations.
- Data Protection
TFP will process personal data submitted via the referral form in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at www.teamfeepay.com.
For Referrers and referred clubs based in the UK, data is processed under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For Referrers and referred clubs based in Ireland, data is processed under EU GDPR.
Third-party contact details (i.e. the referred clubs) will be used solely for the purpose of following up on the referral.
Referrers must not submit third-party personal data without first obtaining the relevant individual’s consent to be contacted by TFP.
- General
This programme is available to invited participants in the United Kingdom and Ireland only.
TFP reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Club Referral Programme at any time, provided that this does not affect the right to a reward for referrals already submitted and qualifying prior to such change.
TFP’s decision on all matters relating to the referral programme, including eligibility and reward qualification, is final.
These Terms do not create any employment, agency, or partnership relationship between TFP and the Referrer.
