TeamFeePay Announce New Partnership with Huntingdonshire FA

TeamFeePay is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Huntingdonshire FA, uniting two organisations with a shared passion for grassroots football and supporting volunteers who keep football going in clubs across the county.

Huntingdonshire FA has been backing those people since 1894, when a meeting in September of that year resolved to formalise the game in the county. More than 130 years on, and a registered charity since 2016, its mission is to give the county’s football community “the relevant and appropriate tools to ensure that all areas of the game continue to grow, develop and evolve”, supporting clubs, leagues, referees, coaches, players and volunteers to carry out their roles as efficiently as possible.

As Official Club Support Partner, TeamFeePay will work alongside Huntingdonshire FA to take some of that weight off club volunteers. From online registrations, automated payment collection and fundraising tools with wider club development support. Huntingdonshire FA-affiliated clubs can also access tailored guidance around long-term sustainability, income generation and volunteer support, alongside a dedicated account manager who understands the realities of grassroots football and is available when clubs need support most.Fee collection, player registrations, club shops, fundraising and the compliance side of running a club all sit in one place, so the hours that used to go on spreadsheets and chasing payments can go back into the game. Behind the platform is a team of football people who play, coach and volunteer themselves, on hand when clubs need them.

Over the coming seasons, the two organisations will work side by side. Each quarter they’ll create practical guidance for clubs together, through blogs and webinars. Clubs looking for help with finance, governance or development will be put in touch with the TeamFeePay team, and the partners will meet every month to check how that support is landing. Looking further ahead, they’ll plan together on club development, affordability, governance and sustainability across Grassroots Football in Huntingdonshire, and share the stories of the county’s clubs with the rest of the country along the way.

Brett Fairholm, Chief Operating Officer at Huntingdonshire FA, said:

“We are thrilled to be entering into a partnership with TeamFeePay. They are an organisation that really understands the grassroots football environment and the challenges faced by the volunteers within the club structures. We are looking forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our clubs.”

Jack McGovern, Club Development Specialist at TeamFeePay, added:

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Huntingdonshire FA as their Club Support Partner. Huntingdonshire FA plays a vital role in supporting grassroots football across the county, and we’re proud to be working alongside a team that shares our commitment to helping clubs thrive. Through this partnership, clubs will have access to TeamFeePay’s Club Support Platform, helping make tasks like collecting memberships, generating income and managing club finances simpler and less time-consuming. Ultimately, it’s about giving volunteers more time to focus on the football and the people behind it. We’re looking forward to supporting Huntingdonshire FA and the fantastic clubs, volunteers and communities they work with every day. Welcome to the TeamFeePay family, Huntingdonshire FA. We’re excited for what’s ahead.”

Together, TeamFeePay and Huntingdonshire FA will work to ensure that every club in the county – regardless of size – has access to the kind of support that helps them run more effectively, generate sustainable income, and keep their focus firmly on the pitch.
