TeamFeePay Announce Partnership Renewal with London FA

TFP are thrilled to announce the renewal of their partnership with London FA, continuing as Club Support Partner and reinforcing a shared commitment to helping Grassroots Football clubs across the capital thrive.

London FA has been at the heart of football in London since 1882. Today, it supports more than 950 clubs, 5,500 teams and 70,000 registered players – among them 30,000 youth players and 650 players with disabilities.

That work now sits inside London For All, London FA’s four-year strategy for 2024 to 2028: widening playing choice, growing the women’s and girls’ game, building and improving facilities, tackling poor behaviour on and off the pitch, and developing a valued network of volunteers, coaches and referees – including growing the volunteer workforce to more than 5,800. It’s that last ambition where this partnership does its most useful work. A volunteer who isn’t buried in admin is a volunteer who stays.

Through the renewed partnership, TFP will continue supporting affiliated clubs in the areas that decide whether a club can plan beyond the current season: club development, income generation and long-term sustainability. London FA clubs that join TFP can access tailored club development support, income generation planning and a dedicated account manager who understands the realities of running a Grassroots Football club.

TFP will also continue as sponsor of the Club of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year categories at the London FA Grassroots Football Awards – two awards that recognise the people holding clubs together across the capital.

TFP is built specifically for Grassroots Football clubs, combining automated payment collection, online registrations and fundraising tools with practical support in areas such as income generation, volunteer recruitment and facility development. At the heart of the partnership is a simple aim: less time lost to admin, more time for the players, the teams and the community around them.

Phil Cowen, Head of Partnerships at TFP, said:

We’re delighted to be renewing our partnership with London FA and continuing our shared commitment to supporting grassroots football across the capital. Volunteers are at the heart of every club, and our role is to help make running a club simpler, giving people more time to focus on football and their communities. Through initiatives such as the Grassroots Football Awards, income generation workshops and ongoing club support, we’ve worked together to make a positive difference for clubs across London. We look forward to building on that success in the seasons ahead.

Aquila Burgess, Head of Partnerships at London FA, added:

We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with TeamFeePay. Their support has already had a positive impact on clubs across London, helping volunteers save valuable time on administration while providing access to resources that support long-term club development. We also greatly appreciate TeamFeePay’s sponsorship of our Club of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year Grassroots Football Awards. Their backing plays an important role in recognising and celebrating the dedicated volunteers who help grassroots football thrive across London. We’re excited to continue working closely with the TeamFeePay team throughout the season as we support clubs, volunteers and players across the capital.
